Project Details:
The McKesson Restack Project consisted of 4 Phases
of complete demo, asbestos abatement, and new construction to 13 floors
with 6 additional floors of miscellaneous repair work. Controlling
the 1,100 + end users, shuffling / moving departments to free up space,
scheduling all of the multiple vendors, and reacting to all client
changes made this downtown San Francisco project very challenging.
The Skyline Partners team of Keith DeBrine and Arlene Donaher were
completely responsible for all management aspects of this project.
The specific areas and vendors they managed included: project budget,
schedule, user expectations, move management , space planning /
allocation, architect / design, building permits, asbestos hygienist,
general contractor, audio visual, furniture, data cabling, white
noise system, telephones and equipment, and movers.
With the project at the conceptual level and without
architectural drawings, Skyline Partners produced the budget and
schedule to be approved by the board. Twenty months later the final
floor was delivered within 4 days of that schedule and below the
$25,861,240 budget.
