Project Details:
The Nanometrics project consisted of managing the close of escrow for the purchase of this 125,000 s.f. building and related due diligence reports as well as full project management to build out 110,000 s.f.

The 7 month schedule consisted of asbestos abatement and demolition of the existing interiors, complete design to include 16,000 s.f. of class 10,000 clean room space, 1,500 s.f. of class 100 clean space, 6,000 s.f. of machine shop, work out room, cafeteria, warehouse, and office space. Along with these construction components, complete audio visual for this publicly traded company's board room, full fit out of new furniture, telephones and equipment, signage, and move management were all part of the scope.

The final product allowed Nanometrics to house their support staff as well as manufacture their advanced thin-film overlay metrology systems, which serve the global semiconductor market.

While with a previous employer, Keith DeBrine was the project manager on this project

His work started with managing the due diligence process, which helped solidify our decision to purchase the building, and then moved onto establishing and managing the entire project budget, putting all of the vendors - asbestos abatement, architect, general contractor, move consultant, movers, signage, security, soils engineer, furniture, keying, telephone equipment, and audio visual - through a rigorous RFP process to ensure we were getting the best value, and finally , coordinating all of these vendors during installation. Throughout the project, Keith always worked in our best interests and clearly brought a different level of knowledge and experience to help supplement our in-house team."
