Jim Walker
Jim provides Skyline Partners with over 20 years of construction project management experience. In addition to project management, he spent a large portion of his career as the acting general manager for a successful and well-respected general contracting firm in the North Bay. Working with Jim you’ll find that he understands the relationship between subcontractors, project budgets and project schedules. In years of industry experience he has worked with a wide range of subcontractors, material suppliers, city and county municipal agencies. Jim finds that it’s his clear concise communication, both written and verbal, that equates to successful projects and brings his clients back. Here are some of the more recent projects he has managed.

Past Projects:

Avalar/CPS, Novato, CA

Sam Jones Hall Homeless Shelter, Santa Rosa, CA
Responsible for the conversion of a surplus Naval Training Center into a 60-bed homeless shelter and community center. Project was driven by a tight construction schedule and the City of Santa Rosa’s desire to provide a state-of-the-art center for the less fortunate. Project included working directly with the local neighborhood that was concerned with a shelter being located in their area and local environmentalist groups concerned with the project being built on a known Tiger Salamander habitat.

Episcopal Homes Foundation, Oakland, CA
Responsible for the renovation of 30 apartments in the St. Paul Towers building. Working in an occupied building, within a Senior Living Facility, we were able to remodel apartments within the timeline required by the owner.

Dean Witter, Santa Rosa, CA
This highly challenging build out for a nation wide investment firm included high end custom millwork with an exotic lighting package. With Dean Witter having an in house Project Manager & Architect as well as a consulting Architect and a Branch Manager, Jim’s people skills were put to the test. In the end, the project exceed all parties expectations and was delivered on the date promised without exceeding the budget.
